K-Lawyers provide a few channels of communication between contract lawyers and law firms. 

Any invitations, required actions, or general notifications between a contract lawyer and a law firm can be accessed through the Bell Icon in the Menu Bar on the top right side of the page.

Notification messages can be received through email as well. You can change notification settings in your profile.
